It’s almost that time of year again! Not Halloween. Not Free Speech Week (thought I wouldn’t discourage celebrating that). November 3rd is the annual American Homebrewers Association Learn to Homebrew Day! Have you been curious to learn more about how the fermented beverage we all enjoy is made?
The best time of the year in Indiana, at least in my my mind, is the fall. Growing up in California, there were little changes in weather from season to season. I first moved to Indiana in the summer and when I experienced my first fall...I fell in love. Fall in Indiana is an explosion of colors, crispness in the air, time for apples and most importantly: pumpkins.
Most craft beer fans have had at least a small experience with SABMiller/Coors' Blue Moon beer. Be it as a last resort beer when nothing else is available, a gateway beer on the road to something more authentic, or an easy to drink alternative, it's hard to deny that the beer brewed under the Blue Moon Brewing Company misnomer are a full flavored and tasty option on the grocery store shelf.
