Like many of you, I scanned the list of Winterfest breweries and beers with astonishment at the number of beers that have not had the pleasure of assaulting my brain cells.
Missed out on Winterfest Indy (this coming Saturday) then plan now for the Bloomington Beer Fest which is moved to APRIL this year! April 13th, 3PM VIP, 4-7 General Admission! Most Indiana Breweries, many out-of-state breweries, music, and a very cool venue make this Fest really fun! Tix are already available.
Tickets are now on sale here for the Brewers of Indiana Guild 2013 Winterfest to be held on January 26th at the State Fairgrounds. A VIP ticket will again run you $55 for the privilege of an early hour of sampling, General Admission is $40, and a Designated Driver ticket runs $10 but earns the eternal gratitude of your friends.
I am a little late to the party. It has taken me a solid week to sit down and talk about my adventure at Winterfest. Not sure if it's even worth a read any more since everyone's attention had shifted to some football game going on in the capital. Hope everyone down in Indianapolis is enjoying themselves.
Unlike roaming free with my fellow reporters, I decided to join Hoosier Beer Geeks's volunteer squad for Winterfest. I was at the fairgrounds at 11am, about 4 hours before the VIP were allowed in, and worked til about 9:30pm, which was after a massive cleanup!!
